Things happen when we’re not paying attention… and, sometimes, they happen even when we’re hyper-focused…
This painting is a personal project that spanned several months of nitpicking and placing it on multiple back burners. It features some of my previous illustrations hanging on the wall in the background, as well as an overflowing cauldron that’s constantly ignored. The subtle chaos throughout the image represents my everyday battles with anxiety and accepting the limitations of my coping abilities.
